Here is a complete list of all the Sanrio characters featured in the special campaign that went from May 2016 to December 2017. It lasted for 20 months featuring the first series of collectible pins. After this series, it would continue on to spotlight twelve different Sanrio characters that are less known in the States for the following year in 2018.

In order to obtain the featured Collector pin, you would have to purchase the minimum of $30 USD on Sanrio goods. They rose the price to $35 in 2018 for the second wave of the FOTM campaign.
I was seriously committed in collecting the first set of the series because I liked the simple and quality design to the pin. The most important thing to me was that the pin wasn't made out of plastic.
After the first round, I decided that I didn't like most of these unknown Sanrio characters, especially the Sanrio Boys. The only two characters that I liked out of all 12 pins were Spottie Dottie and Purin. I didn't go out of my way to collect any more Collector pins.
