On April, Japan debuts a Sanrio boutique in Asakusa. For this occasion, Sanrio has built a large upscale monument for great photo-op opportunities with travelers that come all over the world visiting. It sends a big message to Hello Kitty fans that they're waiting for us in Japan!
Yes, definitely! I'm coming! It's in the works. I'm saving big time to cross this off my bucket list of things to do.

The official name, Asakusa Gift Gate, is another exciting adventure in adding places to visit in Japan. The kittified display stands inside the store are similar to the ones in Little Tokyo of Los Angeles. The exception here is that there is a My Melody version. I wonder if we'll ever see a Lala or a Pochacco version.
